Peter G. Woodring, Principal

Peter Woodring is a founding partner of Cypress Partners, LLC, and is dedicated to helping individuals, families and company 401(k) plans prepare for the future with confidence and clarity. Prior to joining Cypress Partners, Peter worked with a portfolio management team at US Trust, now the private wealth management division of Bank of America. Prior to pursuing a career in finance, Peter played professional soccer in Europe and the United States. Peter holds a B.A from U.C. Berkeley in social science and holds the FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Series 65 License and is a California Registered Investment Advisor representative.

Franka Winchester leads the Accounting and Employee Development departments. Before forming Pacific Crest Group, Franka held financial and human resources leadership roles at several start-up companies, including Colo.com and Softbank, Inc. She is currently volunteering as the Finance Chair at the Entrepreneur Organization Board in San Francisco and is the President of Dakota Partners Inc. Franka earned a B.S. from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and is an AORN Certified Ambulatory Surgery Administrator.
Nina Gardner, J.D.
Partner and Executive Vice President, Filice Insurance
Nina Gardner is Partner and Executive Vice President with Filice Insurance, a large employee benefits consultancy serving more than 2,200 client companies in the Bay Area. Prior to joining Filice, Nina was an employment law attorney with Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold and Littler, Mendelson, both large, national law firms. Prior to law school, Nina worked as a manager of a broadcast union, N.A.B.E.T and as a paralegal for Wild, Carey & Fife. Nina holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature with highest honors from U.C. Berkeley and a J.D. from Berkeley Law (Boalt Hall School of Law) at U.C. Berkeley. Nina currently serves on the board of two non-profits, LIFT and Ross Valley Women’s League. She is also one of the co-founders and board members of Marin Business Forum and was just invited to be on the board of Marin Economic Forum. Nina also served on the board of the Kentfield Schools Foundation for two years, from May of 2009 to May of 2011.
